The Mysuru Sandal Kala Belaku Stars of Karnataka from Samruddi Cultural and Education Trust was telecast in Kasthuri channel in 13 weeks in 26 episodes. Madan Patel and his son Mayoor Patel brain behind it have spent nearly 85 lakhs of rupees on this show to excavate talent. 1800 persons from Bengaluru, Mangaluru, Mysuru, Hubballi, Davanagere, Gulbarga took part in the talent hunt.

In the singing division Shwetha Prabhu and Purushottam, in dance division Smitha and Vinay, in special art Shwetha Dharwadkar were mentors. 13 fresh talent are recognized in this studious approach by Madan Patel. They were given training later on in Soothra School of Sports and Cultural Training center.

The shoot was later held in a specially erected set at Kanteerava Studio for 23 days. It was six rounds of competition. Four from singing, four from dance and two from special ability in art were chosen for final round.

Madan Patel was ‘Maha Guru’ of the show. Mayoor Patel was judge of the show with Manasa Holla.

In the final round Vedika Nayana Iyengar, Bengaluru in singing, Sanketh Gaonkar of Ankola and in special ability in art Thandavam of Madikeri clinched the trophy.
